Located at the far end of the Southern Rhone Valley, Lirac is perhaps one of the least well-known Cru appellations but one of the oldest in the area. We are hoping to change that with this new exciting wine, that had us at our first sniff and sip. To top it off, this Lirac comes from one of the best vintages ever, which has been called “insanely good.” So good that you’ll start to wonder how we can offer it at such a great price.
According to Wine Advocate, “The 2015 Lirac is another attractive, medium-bodied, seductive 2015 from this estate that offers lots of black and blue fruits, peppery herbs and earth in its supple, textured personality. It’s well worth drinking and should keep for 4-5 years [2016-2021].”
